The Wicked Shall Decay
Published by Three Hands Press 2018
From my publisher
Even after the practice of witch-hunting and persecution began to wane, malefic sorcery was greatly feared as a baneful and pernicious influence, particularly in rural areas during the 18th and 19th centuries. The arsenal of folk-magical armaments against such powers included charms, spells, rituals, sigils, and magical squares, as well as the use of magical herbs and words of power. Many of these practices resembled in method and materiel the very evil they were meant to combat, embodying in themselves a savour of the sinister and demonic.
Accessing a diverse array of historical and folkloric sources, A.D. Mercer's The Wicked Shall Decay gathers together a collection of obscure British magic featuring curses, anti-witchcraft spells and hedges against malevolent power. Greatly treasured in their day for their efficacy, these rites document a widespread tradition of ‘dark folk magic’ of value to the research of both scholar and esoteric practitioner alike.

Liber Coronzom - an Enochian Grimoire
Published by Aeon Sophia Press 2016
From my publisher
Liber Coronzom is a 'hands-on' approach to Enochian magic, cutting through all the superfluous material and focusing instead on the original Dee Manuscripts and their application, thus making it a genuine grimoire of practical magic Culled from years of personal experience and research, Liber Coronzom offers a different approach to interacting with the Enochian angels; first encountered by Dr. John Dee on the late 16th century. Liber Coronzom also reveals how the name Coronzom itself has been misspelt since it first appeared in print in 1659, and examines how this error may have come about. Liber Coronzom is also the first work to correlate the Dee material with contemporary grimoires to give a more complete picture of practical magical work of the mid to late 16th Century.
Liber Coronzom is out of stock with the publishers but is available via Miskatonic Books

Runen - The Wisdom of the Runes
Published by Aeon Sophia Press 2016
From my publisher
Runen discusses the deeper significance of the Armanen runes with the intention of returning the runes to their rightful place at the zenith of true runic magic and not left in the hands of fanatics who have no idea of their true meaning as symbols of transformation granting access into the deeper unconscious and what may lie beyond.
In order to fully understand the significance of the Armanen runes, we must first examine their history in order to dispel some of the myths that have grown up around them. From this Runen then moves on to examine each rune in detail, before embarking on a detailed exploration of the relationship between the Runes and Yggdrasil, the Germanic and Nordic world tree. This is what makes Runen a unique text, as it's the only text to directly link the two, exploring the importance of this connection, which cannot be overstated. Runen then concludes with an exposition of effective Armanen rune Magic, Numerology and Divination.
UPDATE - The second edition of Runen (now called Runa) was published by Troy Books in 2020 - See below

Underworld Gnosis - Occult currents in Dante' Inferno

Published by Three Hands Press 2020
The Inferno of Dante Alighieri, written in the early 1300s, contains some of the most vivid imaginings of Hell and its denizens extant in Christian mysticism. Equally, its portrayal of the torture of the eternal soul marks out a visionary religious philosophy of good and evil, the nature of eternity, and divine retribution. Composed as a cautionary allegory for the pious Christian, the Inferno can also be understood at a variety of levels by the students of the Western Esoteric Tradition. In Underworld Gnosis, A.D. Mercer explores how the haunting and disturbing journey of Dante through the Infernal realms may offer insight and counsel to practitioners of occult traditions as diverse as Kabbalistic Mysticism, Ceremonial Magic, and Goetic Magic.

Runa - The Wisdom of the Runes (second edition)
Published by Troy Books 2020
‘Runa – Wisdom of the Runes’ presents what is, without doubt, the most misunderstood, probably the most cynically abused set of runes in the history of runology. The Armanen runes have been ignored by scholars, abused by right-wing extremists, and largely forgotten by students of the occult. Nevertheless, the Armanen runes are in many ways the quintessential esoteric rune row. Originally conceived of by the nineteenth-century German mystic Guido von List, the Armanen runes offer us the most esoterically charged futharks ever encountered.
The second of Runen, retitled 'Runa', the book's original title, the author expands upon some of the ideas in the first edition, as well as correcting some errors which found their way into the original.
Runa is available directly from the publisher Troy Books in three formats

The aim for the publication of this book is to make it available to students and practitioners who are interested in researching the grimoires of the Solomonic & Goetic Tradition. The text in the original version of the Clavis Inferni was written in a mixture of Latin, Hebrew and a cypher alphabet called 'Transitus Fluvii' or "Passing through the River" by C. Agrippa.
